Via the Domain Manager, you’ll also be able to enable an SSL certificate for your domain name. With an SSL certificate, all the private details that your customers send via your site (via the order form, through a login form, etc.) will be enciphered and the submitted info will never be compromised.

To enable an SSL certificate for your domain name, just enter the necessary info and then click on the Activate button. You can obtain a traditional SSL certificate, which will be enabled for one single host, or a wildcard SSL certificate, which will be valid for all the hosts under your domain name.

If you want to use WordPress MultiSite or some other multi–site application, or even if you want to stop users from mistyping the ’www.’ part of your domain name, you will be able to use the wildcard domain name activation options offered by our Domain Manager interface.

With the Wildcard option available in the Domain Manager, you will be able to forward all the hosts and subdomains under a particular domain name, for example – blog.domain.com or forum.domain.com, to the index page of your web site.

In our Domain Manager you’ll find a user–friendly tool, which enables you to filter out your web site traffic based on the visitors’ physical whereabouts. With SystemShells.com’s GeoIP redirection tool, you will be able to quickly set up location–based redirections and point people to specific areas of your site. For instance, you can send the US traffic to your home page, and the traffic from Spain to a sub–domain – es.your–website.com, for example.

With this user–friendly tool, you will no longer need to enter dozens of lines of code in the .htaccess file. Everything is carried out by the tool itself.

Your domain name goes hand in hand with the registrant, admin and technical contact information that you provide during the registration process. Since this info has to be correct and up–to–the–minute, you need to have a way to edit it, if necessary.

You can accomplish that via the Domain Manager in your Control Panel. Just specify the domain name that you’d like to modify the registration info for and click the Edit WHOIS button. All the modifications that you make will be updated live momentarily! You will be able to also modify the WHOIS information pertaining to many domain names simultaneously.
